All our books are categorized into different sections covering every aspect of interest from cookery to travel, history to biography, religion & theology, nature, craft, hobbies etc etc. We have a particularly large fiction section. We also have a very large and popular childrens section.

Wherever possible books are displayed alphabetically by author. We often receive frequent positive feedback from customers who come in to browse who have said "it is the most organized secondhand bookshop they have come across yet!"

Feel free to ask if you can't find a particular book, we may have it after all.

In addition we also stock secondhand maps, videos, dvds, cds and vinyl.

Who are we?

We are a family run business. We bought the existing shop in 2003, before this the shop was known as "Fresh and Frozen". Our aim has been to constantly improve the stock and to give a friendly and helpful service which we think and hope we have achieved.

Customers are welcome to browse for as long as they wish. If you can't remember the full details of a particular book, we will help you to identify it. Dogs are welcome.

Biggest in Shropshire

How can we be the biggest bookshop in the county when the photograph makes us look so small? Simple - we go back a long way. As soon as you come in through the door you'll see that our bookshelves are long and they're deep. What's more, we have much more in stock than we can display on the shelves. Anything that you're looking for that you can't see may well be in stock. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you locate any book either from our own stock or, by a booksearch, from any other bookseller.
